Using a premium soy war blend, fine fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, as well as vegan, VOC-compliant bases for our sprays and diffusers, we strive to provide our customers with a planet-friendly experience.

True Hue is happily made in Minneapolis, MN since we began in 2017. They have a strong commitment to sustainability, responsible sourcing and ingredient honesty and a love of community. They invest in their community by donating to organizations; specifically, those that promote equality and equity within the LGBTO+ community.

Griffin Overbye began True Hue out of a desire to capture his memories into fragrances. Growing up on a lake, Griffin spent many days exploring the outdoors, under the sun. In admiration of his surrounding environment, he sought out to create a line of complex fragrances that are inspired by nature, sophisticated, and timeless. When Griffin isn't at the True Hue HQ, you can find him munching on chocolate croissants, arranging flowers from his local market, sipping on a latte, painting alongside his furry friends, and seeking a fun new adventure.
