Sterling Silver Care
Most of our jewelry pieces are made with solid sterling silver that is never filled or plated to create jewelry that lasts.
Care: Sterling silver naturally oxidizes so when not wearing your piece, it should be placed in our cotton anti-tarnish pouch. Our pouch can be used to lightly buff stains and dark areas. We recommend purchasing a jewelry polishing cloth to clean your piece. Do not wear your piece in the shower or while swimming.
Gold Vermeil Care
Gold vermeil is gold plated over sterling silver and it has a minimum of 1.5 micron with 24K gold (Our gold plating is nickel free). It is thicker than regular gold plating commonly found in the market.
Care: Do not wear in water or when exercising. When not wearing your piece, it should be placed in our cotton anti-tarnish pouch. To clean, use a dry cotton cloth to gently buff your piece. Do not use jewelry cleaners on gold vermeil pieces.
Gold-Filled Care
Gold-filled is thick layered (filled) 14K gold over brass. It is thicker than regular gold plating over brass.
Care: Do not wear in water or when exercising. When not wearing your piece, it should be placed in our cotton anti-tarnish pouch. To clean, use a dry cotton cloth to gently buff your piece. Do not use jewelry cleaners on gold-filled pieces.
Gold Plated Brass Care
Gold plated brass is 24K gold plated over solid brass. We use 24K Nickel free gold.
Care: Do not wear in water or when exercising. When not wearing your piece, it should be placed in our cotton anti-tarnish pouch. To clean, use a dry cotton cloth to gently buff your piece. Do not use jewelry cleaners on gold plated brass pieces.
Brass Care
Brass is all solid brass, which is a metal alloy of copper and zinc.
Care: Brass naturally will patina when exposed to oxygen and moisture. When not wearing your piece, it should be placed in our cotton anti-tarnish pouch. We recommend using a jewelry polishing cloth to clean and shine your piece. If looking for a natural cleaning method, mix lemon juice and baking soda into a paste and rub onto the brass with a dry cloth, then rinse and buff dry
