Founded in Los Angeles, California, by British self-taught perfumer Richard Saint-Ford, IGGYWOO takes its name from a childhood word he shared with his bohemian grandmother, meaning “imagination.”

Richard created IGGYWOO from the belief that perfumery, like music or film, has its own rhythm and atmosphere for which you can build entire worlds to escape into - what he calls scent escapism.

Untrained in traditional perfumery, he creates instinctively and without inherited rules, translating imagined worlds into distinctive fragrances.

Every fragrance I create begins with an atmosphere and feeling of an imagined world, which i translate into a form of scent-escapism for your senses.

These are distinctive olfactory worlds I couldn’t find anywhere else in perfumery, so I bring them to life for you, the wearer, to experience and make your own.

My hope is simple: that when you wear IGGYWOO, you feel something. More curious. More alive. More yourself - or transported somewhere you’ve always wanted to go but never knew existed.

Every IGGYWOO fragrance is made with care - but never compromise. We work with vegan formulas. Cruelty-free always. Organic and upcycled botanicals that turn the overlooked into something powerful.

We’re not interested in excess, filler or legacy ingredients that exist because “that’s how it’s done.” We use both natural and also the power of nature-identical ingredients, and are built to EU standards removing over over 1,300 listed allergens, including parabens, phthalates, hydroquinone, avobenzone, BHT, BHA, and octinoxate. If it doesn’t serve the feeling - it doesn’t stay.
