Emma is the Founder and Co-Owner of Hazel & Rose. She started the shop in the spring of 2016 after spending her career in corporate retail. When she's not working in the shop, Emma spends her time indulging in anything related to drag queens, participating in bar trivia with her lovably nerdy husband, taking videos of her two dogs, and performing. She made her Fringe debut this past summer and has plans to one day create an all-female Backstreet Boys cover band.

What is your greatest fear?

It's not a fear so much as a healthy respect for the real danger that they possess, and it's hippopotamuses and dolphins.

What is your most treasured possession?

My wedding dress, which was reconstructed from my mom's wedding dress.

When and where were you happiest?

At a Backstreet Boys concert at age 14, 21, 24, and 26.

Which words or phrases do you most over-use?

The cry-laughing emoji.

Where would you like to live?

Copenhagen

What is the quality you most admire in a person?

A sense of humor/quick wit.

Closed-mindedness.

1. Megan Huntz Jules Slip Dress

I love simplicity and versatility and this dress is both - it's four dresses in one! I love that it can easily be layered to dress down but looks so sleek and elevated on its own.

Skincare is my latest obsession (if you're on Instagram as often as I am, it feels like it's everyone's latest obsession) and these three products are an awesome starter kit for a skincare novice or essential add-ons to the seasoned skincare queen.

I can never say no to a good sweater, and this is a GOOD SWEATER. So soft and knit in a women-run factory in Peru. Classic perfection.
