This holiday season, we wanted to ask each of the Hazel & Rose team members what they had their eye on. But first, we wanted to do a fun exercise: an abridged version of The Proust Questionnaire. 

Genevieve is our newest team member, joining us this past fall, but we met her back when we did our first spring Fashion Week MN event in 2017. Genevieve responded to an open casting call for our in-store interactive fashion show, Who Made My Clothes? and we remained in touch. We got to work with Genevieve again for this spring's fashion show, Circa Now, and she did some modeling for the online store this spring as well.

Genevieve is a student at the U of M and has grown more passionate about sustainable and ethical fashion over the last two years. She loves vintage and definitely has a knack for styling vintage pieces with new items. 

What is your greatest extravagance?

Tough question. I like to be extravagant at any chance I get.

What is your favorite journey?

I took a road trip out west and went camping as well as backpacking in 7 states. It was amazing to see so much of the country.

If you could change one thing about you, what would it be?

I would like to relinquish some of my perfectionist tendencies.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

I founded a gender equality club when I was in high school, and it still exists at the school long after I have left.

Where would you like to live?

It would be nice, for a short time, to live in a rural place with beautiful nature.

What is the quality you most admire in a person?

Humor, I love people who can make really great jokes.
