Gravel & Gold

Placer Pant | Natural

$ 195.00 $ 88.00
Size

A very high-waisted, wide-legged, sturdy pant, with a silhouette reminiscent of 1930s workwear or vintage Navy surplus trousers. Placer Pants fit a range of bodies and are especially great for showing off your waist while allowing for curvier butts and hips. They are super-duper high, and we think they strike the hard-to-find balance between a flattering shape and comfortable fit.

MATERIAL & CARE

This is a 100% cotton denim, woven by the renowned Cone Denim mills. Its weight is 11oz per yard square, which makes for sturdy and forgiving denim pants.

We generally encourage light washing and hang drying to extend the life of your clothing, but this garment can stand up to heavy washing when needed.

We wash these after they are sewn, so they will not shrink up anymore.

SIZING

Gravel & Gold sizing runs 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. This generally corresponds to XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL. Find more information and measurements in the photos section.

Jasmine is wearing a size 1.

Gravel & Gold is an independent, woman-owned design collective in San Francisco, California. Since 2008, they have supported one another and a broader community of artists to create joyful, useful items. They share business responsibilities, a studio, and meals, they run workshops, and take care to express common values through the work they create.

Their original designs are produced in California and offered at our shop in San Francisco’s Mission District, here on this website, and perhaps(?) at a friendly neighborhood shop near you.  They hope that the things they make encourage the freedom to be kind to strangers, fierce to foes, and gentle under the sea.

Founded by like-minded women as a place to show and collaborate with an extended network of creative people, places, and things, G&G is now co-owned by longtime friends and fellow travelers Tomra Palmer and Holly Samuelsen.
